The United Football League is a new professional football league getting ready to kick off its third season. They have 8 teams total with one in Sacramento. As a huge fan of football, I was checking out to see what the league is about when I heard that a local boy was drafting to one of their rosters after going undrafted in this less than exciting 2011 NFL draft amid no news of the labor situation. I was curious when games played and found out that tickets are ridiculously cheap as compared to NFL tickets. Plus Sacramento is far closer to where I live than San Francisco or Oakland (about half the driving time). I put my name on a mailing list and when I was called by their ticket rep, I found that I could purchase season tickets for as little as $15 a game.

So, in short, I am now a season ticket holder for the Sacramento Mountain Lions and I'm looking forward to a fun season of watching more live football that I have in recent years. With this and my brother looking at three more years of high school ball, I'm pretty stoked about the coming fall seasons.
